Tartlets with dried apples!!!
Many are those who, wrongly, believe that making a tart is a difficult process which needs a lot of time . Of course this is not true. It is required minimal kitchen equipment and a little attention to some steps of the recipe. Generally, we can add the desserts consisting of a baked dough base – «Pâte brisée*» and a filling, either baked or chilled, in the tart family.
Ingredients
For the dough «Pâte brisée*»
- 200 gr. soft flour
- 30 gr. granulated sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 gr. butter at room temperature
- 1 middle egg
For the filling
- 100 gr. dried apple
- 30 gr. granulated sugar
- Cinnamon
- 100 gr. water

Method…
For the base
Bήμα 1
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C in the air. Put flour, sugar, salt in a bowl, and mix with a spoon.

Cut the butter into small pieces and put it in the bowl. Rub with your fingertips all the ingredients until pastry dough comes together.
Bήμα 3
Add the egg and stir until you have a smooth pastry dough. Divide the pastry dough, with a knife, into 12 pieces.
Bήμα 4
Roll out every piece of the pastry dough with your fingers or with a rolling pin.Put the muffin papers in a 12-case muffin-pan.

Put a piece of pastry dough in each case and push with your hands (or with the base of a glass) so as to get the shape of the case.
Bήμα 6
Put a muffin – paper on each piece of pastry dough and fill it with some weight (beans, rice) in order to not warp as long as they are being baked.
Bήμα 7
Bake for 30 minutes. Remove the added weight (beans, rice) and the papers and bake for another 10 minutes until they get golden.

Remove from the oven and let them cool.
For the filling
Bήμα 1
Add all the ingredients for the filling in a pot. Let the apples over medium heat until soft and there are no juices. If it is needed add some extra water.

Since the mixture has cooled, puree it. Then, fill the tartlets with the apple filling.
