GREEK PEACH : In dried form from 4G

The scientific name of peach is Prunus Persica. The ancient Greeks did not know the peach tree. It is believed to have come to Europe from China, where it still exists today, in which it was native, cultivated since ancient times.
From there it spread to Persia and Asia Minor, while in Greece it became famous in 400-300 BC. Then, its cultivation extended to the rest of the Mediterranean countries and later to America and Australia. Now it is cultivated on a large scale in Italy, France, and in recent years it is grown in California, Virginia and Texas.
