Vitamin C has been shown in several clinical studies to promote the functioning of the immune system, thus defending our organism against various diseases. In the same direction, however, coumarins, which, as shown by animal studies, enhance the activity of leukocytes (a class of cells that constitute our body’s defense arsenal against various viruses).
